Are you doing all that you can?

I recently read a quote by Sun Tzu that said, “Can you imagine what I would do if I could do all I can?” WOW! As I read this a shot of adrenaline went through my body like a bolt and I felt so excited… an excitement that it seemed as if I had never felt before. What that quote did, in a short amount of time, was to remind me that my opportunities are endless and that the only limits to what I can do with my life exist only in my mind; that my imagination is key to my Living My Dreams. So, in true Tonoa Fashion, I have to mirror this quote back to you and ask, “Can you imagine what YOU would do if you did all that you can?”

Einstein once said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For while knowledge defines all we currently know and understand, imagination points to all we might yet discover and create.” So don’t get caught up in the steps it would take for you to get from point A to point B. Don’t look at your life and think about all of the things that you are seemingly lacking. Simply imagine your dreams and then act as if they already exist – because guess what? They do.

Many of us have lost touch with our imaginations; that part ourselves that is the creativity center of our dreams. That place that, when we were younger, took us on many a magical journey, leading us to experience visions and dreams that we had never experienced before yet wanted to experience again and again. The place within us all that continually helps us to experience the magic.

Imagination is that part of us that tells us that our dreams are possible. Yet many of us ‘grow up’ and place that part of ourselves on a shelf, thinking that to use it is child’s play. But, how do you expect to Live Your Dreams if you’ve never seen them? How do you expect to meet your destiny if you’ve yet to create it? How do you expect to live your life on the wings of unlimited possibilities if you cannot imagine that these possibilities exist? No, imagination is not just for children. It is for us all; to call out to the child within and allow him or her to create our paths, directing us in the direction of our dreams.

Your inner child is asking you to let him out to play. It know the way to your dreams and want to lead you to them. So, can you imagine what YOU would do if you did all that you can? Let’s let the child within you answer that question for you. I am certain that the answer will unabashedly be ‘YES’!
